Ready to rock

Return to the days of ’80s glam metal when Mötley Crüe brings its “Red, White and Crüe” tour to Reno. The Crüe were often a target of conservative Christian groups and the Parental Music Resource Center early in their career, but the band’s bad-boy reputation only helped them become one of the biggest stadium rock acts of the 1980s. The party couldn’t last forever, though, and by the 1990s singer Vince Neil and drummer Tommy Lee had left the band. But late last year, the band reunited and announced a world tour. Mötley Crüe plays 8 p.m. March 25 at Reno Events Center, 400 N. Center St. Tickets are $53-$73. Call 335-8840. Kelley Lang
