Pufferbilly

Jackie McDonald is the Pufferbilly version of Cranberry Dolores O’Riordan Burton. She has a similar voice, the kind of voice that makes you shiver when she sings, even when it’s only backup vocals. When you hear the title track, "Faded," you’ll probably tremble with pleasure. Mike Wortman percusses, David Sidley, basses and vocals, Mike "Fozzy" Ford guitars and David Berry does all of the above. The band plays around town and definitely is worth seeing live. This is good chill music for the end of the summer, a great soundtrack for barbecues, camping trips, a day at the beach or a day kicking around the house thinking about doing all those other things. They credit Ben Harper, James Taylor and Herman Hesse as influences. Worth a listen.
