The UNR Student Senate met for 44 hours last week in protest against the $44 million cut in university funding, though by the time the protest happened, additional cuts were already being demanded of the campus. The meeting was held in a tent on the lawn in front of the student union. When we showed up for this photo, there were just two senators and one senator-elect on hand.
