Phone Booth

Rated 2.0 While Colin Farrell delivers a decent performance as a man being terrorized in a phone booth by a sniper (voiced by Keifer Sutherland), he is being directed by Joel Schumacher, which means there will be some necessary suckage. When Farrell is delivering his material in paranoid, hyperventilating mode, the movie can be fun to watch. But Schumacher has Sutherland sounding like some ghoulish, midnight monster movie host, and all of the characters, other than Farrell’s, are cardboard cutouts. Could’ve been good, but it’s not.
