Park begins recovery This article was published on 05.01.08 Firefighters clean up and look for possible hot spots at the Oxbow Park Nature Area, on the Truckee River near West Fourth Street. A fire Sunday charred about 17 acres of the 22-acre park, sending up a column of smoke that could be seen throughout the valley.
