On warmer days, she is usually in the front window where her fur acts as a solar collector, converting sunlight into more sleep. Naturalist Joseph Wood Krutch wrote, “Cats are rather delicate creatures, and they are subject to a good many ailments, but I never heard of one who suffered from insomnia.”
