A state legislator once said of Reno’s bike path program, “Painted lines do not a bike path make.” Folks in Sparks are seeing a way of giving bikers greater protection and preventing drivers from parking or driving in bike lanes—a median that runs between driving lanes and bike lanes. This lane, a Regional Transportation project, is on B Street east of Pyramid Way.
