Nevadan appointed by Obama
The White House last week announced that Sarah Mersereau Adler of Carson City has been appointed state director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Agency in Nevada. Though it sounds like the agency deals with farming issues, in fact it is heavily into other issues, like housing.
Adler held the same post under President Clinton from 1993 to 2000, then was replaced during Bush II.
Gentile will be paid $345 an hour to handle prosecution of Nevada lieutenant governor.
