Nevada veterans’ memories logged

Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki and his staff are gathering interviews with Nevadans who have served in Afghanistan and Iraq for an oral history project, “Battle Born: Nevada War Stories.” The interviews will be video- and audio-taped and posted on the lieutenant governor’s website. Staffer Caleb Cage is honchoing the project and can be contacted at <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">{ document.write(String.fromCharCode(60,97,32,104,114,101,102,61,34,109,97,105,108,116,111,58,99,115,99,97,103,101,64,108,116,103,111,118,46,110,118,46,103,111,118,34,62,99,115,99,97,103,101,64,108,116,103,111,118,46,110,118,46,103,111,118,60,47,97,62)) } </script> or by calling (775) 684-7122.

One of Krolicki’s predecessors, Lt. Gov. Maurice Sullivan, compiled a book, Nevada’s Gold Stars, published after the First World War. It contained biographical profiles of every Nevada soldier killed in 1917-1919.
