Nevada Museum of Art installs 24-hour sexcam

“Why should security guards have all the fun?”

This week, the Nevada Museum of Art installed the long-awaited rooftop sexcam. Rumors have been circulating since the museum opened about oblivious art-goers assuming they were alone on the museum’s open-air, top-floor sculpture terrace and opting for an afternoon frolic.

“Those rumors are true,” says veteran NMA security guard Randie Childs, who reports that she’s suffered the sight of rooftop indiscretion captured on the museum’s security camera countless times.

“People weren’t getting that excited about the modernist silver coffee sets on our Web site, so we decided to show the world what else is going on here,” Childs explains. “And, I mean, why should security guards have all the fun? Why not share our wealth of, um, sociological research, let’s call it, with the rest of the world?”

The museum’s Web site (http://www.nevadamuseum.org/sexcam) has seen a traffic increase of about 8,000 percent in the last three days.
