Several bungalow-style homes across Virginia Street from the University of Nevada, Reno campus between Lawlor Events Center and Church Fine Arts are now gone. The area has been rezoned by the city from single-family to multi-family and mixed use. One institutional-style multi-story commercial apartment building has already been constructed in the area.
