A two-day extravaganza dubbed
Showfest 2001 Benefit will be held Aug. 25-26 at the Little Waldorf Saloon, 1661 N. Virginia St. The show will raise money for Fallon Families First, a group that helps provide services to the Fallon child leukemia cluster. Besides bands—the line-up currently features
Local 420, Redcel, Livitz Livitz, Two-20-Two, Inflexus, Wordplay, Seventh Source, Kryselis and
God’s Entertainment—the benefit will also feature comedians and fashion shows. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, and are available at Bizarre Guitar, Recycled Records and Tower Records. The doors open at 5 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.
