Renegade Productions, the Tahoe City-based company that brings many reggae shows to the Lake Tahoe area, is hosting the
Renegade Festival at Morning Star Lake Aug. 17-19, in Forest Hill, Calif. (near Auburn, about two hours from Reno). Described as “an eclectic mix of reggae and world beat, with some funk, ska and jazz bands thrown in for variety,” the festival will feature, among others,
Buju Banton,
Yellowman and The Sagittarius Band,
Mutabaraku,
The Skool Band,
The Itals,
Michael Rose,
Apple Gabriel and
