Can’t beat us down
High school has come a long way.
Detention is a short video about bored teens making the best of the mandatory hour of after-school confinement where they’re supposed to pay the price for whatever daytime hijinks they’ve been up to. The Reno High School Band, stars and producers of this Quicktime flick, seize the day—and whatever percussive materials they can find, including notebooks, desks and hands, and make high-energy music out of almost nothing. The video is a prelude to a
Stomp-like production the kids are working on for later this spring. To see it, go to http://www.renoband. org/ reno_media.html and click on “Detention.”
