Music notes
There are two new bands in town playing their debut shows in the coming week. The first is heavy rock (not metal) band Transfer. Transfer plays its first show at 9 p.m. July 10 with June and 7eveneyes at Knuckleheads. The band has been together for about two years, although the current lineup is six-months new. Crushed by Jefferson, self-described synth pop/country rock band, has been together for nine months and plays its first show at 6:30 p.m. July 11 at Club Infinity with Alldaydrive and Limbeck. Members of CBJ have played in local bands Chico Escuela, A Moments Loss and Breakneck. The band has already recorded a five-song EP which will be available at the show. Check out these bands, and see if either could be your new favorite.
