“Republican” Sharron Angle will be in New Hampshire on Feb. 25 to promote the creationist movie The Genesis Code, directed by former Brat Packer C. Thomas Howell.
She previously attended similar events in Iowa, the first caucus state, and South Carolina, the first Southern primary state.
Her appearance at the first event, in Iowa, generated a flurry of stories about her running for president, but that has died down. In a story on her visit, prominent New Hampshire political writer John DiStaso wrote that “she is not viewed as a likely presidential candidate.”
So why all her appearances in states with early presidential nominating events? It seems that has to do with the movie, not with Angle. The producers of the movie, according to Politico, are marketing it heavily “in the early primary states.”
