Killings delay Bundy trial

U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro has postponed Cliven Bundy’s trial on weapons charges for his role in an armed standoff with federal land agents in 2014.

Defense attorneys asked for the delay, telling the judge the Las Vegas mass shooting could sway jurors. She granted a postponement but rejected requests for a 90-day delay and a change of venue to Reno. She did not say when the trial will begin.
