More than 20 bands and solo artists ranging in genres from Americana/roots music to Latin-flavored rock will take to the stage over two days. Each act will get 30 minutes to perform. A panel of local judges will choose one song per main act to be included on an album of downloads, which will be posted on a website. One lucky performer’s song will be chosen as the grand champion. The April 1 lineup features Erika Davidson, Kung Fu Sophie, Tyler Stafford, Tim Snider, Eric Andersen, Nothing Like a Dame and Whitney Myer Band with special guests Ryan James, Utility Players, Frankie Ferreira, Todd South, Athena McIntyre and Michelle Pappas. The April 2 lineup features Crush, Scarlet Presence, The Reagan Years, Big Remote, Jelly Bread, Drinking with Clowns with special guests Ben Arnold, Marvin Gonzalez, Iain Watson, Grace Hutchison and Wash Machine. Proceeds from ticket sales and a raffle will go toward the University of Nevada, Reno’s Music General Scholarship Fund. The all-ages show takes place April 1-2 at The Underground, 555 E.
