The Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) Program, which assists survivors of sexual assault and families, is looking for volunteers.
The next training class runs from Oct. 5-Nov. 16. A statement from the program appealing for help reads, “Trainings [include] 70+ hours of class time and additional hours for hands on experience. Due to the nature of our work and the diverse issues we cover, solid attendance is crucial.”
SASS volunteers need to have access to a vehicle and phone. They are expected to commit to serving a year. For information, see www.crisiscallcenter.org/aboutus.html or call 784-8085.
