Jim Croce, the president and CEO of the Nevada Institute for Renewable Energy Commercialization, will discuss clean energy innovation on April 29 at 7 p.m. at Sierra Nevada College’s Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences, room 139. How clean energy can contribute to economic growth and diversification is on the agenda. Prior to the panel, staffers from the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center will give a tour at 6:30 p.m. showing the sustainable features of the Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences, the first LEED Platinum-certified building in Nevada.
