Eco-Event: Truckee River Cleanup

The Truckee River Clean-up is Sept. 26. Join Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, Nevada EcoNet, the Truckee River Fund and hundreds of volunteers in choosing from one of 12 different sites along the river. Organizers have made a special request for experienced kayakers to pull debris from the river. Now in its 12th year, the event is held from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Fill out the volunteer form at ktmb.org.
