Eco-Event: Square Foot Gardener comes to Reno

Learn how to grow more in less space from bestselling author Mel Bartholomew of All New Square Foot Gardening during Square Foot Gardening seminars and workshops this weekend. The seminars are held Saturday, April 2, at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and workshops are Sunday, April 3, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The workshops address how to get a square foot garden started. $45 for seminar alone; $75 for both seminar and a workshop. Seminar participation is required to attend a workshop. Proceeds benefit the ALS of Nevada, a nonprofit serving patients of ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
