Eco-Event: 2010 Litter Index

Put your critical eye to use by participating in the 2010 Litter Index on Tuesday, Aug. 17. Introduced by Keep America Beautiful in 2000, the Litter Index is organized locally through Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful. Volunteer teams are assigned routes in Reno and Sparks to rate their cleanliness on a scale of 1 to 4. A volunteer orientation begins at 5 p.m. at KTMB’s office at 2000 Del Monte Lane. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
