Distinguished Nevadan

Judge Edward Reed, who graduated from the University of Nevada in 1949, returned to the campus last week to receive the campus’s “Distinguished Nevadan” award. Reed was appointed by President Carter to the U.S. District Court for Nevada in 1979. He also served on the Washoe County School Board and Reed High School is named for him.
