Bedtime story

Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company presents Once Upon a Mattress, a musical comedy based on The Princess and the Pea. In this tale, Princess Winnifred is a determined gal who swims a moat to marry Prince Dauntless. The prince’s mother, however, comes up with a plan to disqualify the applicant. But court members devise their own scheme to make sure Winnifred gets her man. The show begins 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24-25 and Oct. 1-2; 2 p.m. Sept. 26. and Oct. 3 at Western Nevada Community College, 2201 W. College Parkway, Carson City, 445-4249.
