Art pick of the week
As part of Artown, enjoy artwork made of beads, gourds, kelp and various other mediums in Hot August Fibers VIII at the Silver State Gallery, 719 Plumas St. The exhibit opens with a reception at 5 p.m. July 27 and closes Aug. 30.
