Agent Cody Banks

Rated 2.0 Frankie Muniz, the likeable star of TV’s Malcolm in the Middle, wastes valuable time in this Spy Kids/James Bond rip-off. He stars as a kid secretly trained as an agent for the CIA, thrust into service when a mad scientist’s daughter (Hilary Duff) needs surveillance. Lots of breasts for a kids movie, albeit not naked ones, just pushed up and in skimpy outfits. Muniz is capable of much more than this, and fans of his are advised to stick with his TV show until somebody figures out how to take his talents to the big screen. The film is the first in a proposed series, so here’s to Muniz coming to his senses and avoiding future schlock such as this.
