A Night with the Diva

Opera singer Dolora Zajick performs in her hometown this weekend at a gala event for Nevada Opera. The singer is considered one of the best Verdi mezzo sopranos of our time with a range that extends more than three octaves beyond normal mezzo range. Legendary opera singer Birgit Nilsson said Zajick’s mezzo voice is “the only one existing today without any competition in the world.” She will perform 8 p.m. April 10 at the Reno Hilton Theater, 2500 E.
