A Nevada/Arizona developer’s officials have disappeared.

Officials and employees of a southern Nevada homebuilder seem to have vanished. The Pahrump Valley Times reports that the Pleasant Valley sales office of Concordia Homes is empty. So are the company’s Las Vegas and Henderson sales offices.

On Oct. 15, in response to a Las Vegas Review-Journal article on difficulties faced by Concordia, company president Gidget Graham issued a statement that began, “Concordia Homes has taken an action that was necessary to reflect the realities of today’s homebuilding market.”

Interestingly, that statement was very similar to a statement issued in Hollywood, Fla., on Oct. 31 by Antonio B. Mon, president and CEO of a different homebuilder, TOUSA, when he announced that company’s bankruptcy: “This action is necessary to reflect the realities of today’s homebuilding market.”
