A midsummer pastime

If you haven’t made it up to the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, time is running out. Take the day off and plan an afternoon of swimming, picnicking and performances of The Merry Wives of Windsor or A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Performances of Merry Wives are 7:30 p.m. Aug. 21 and 8 p.m. Aug. 23. Midsummer performances are 8 p.m. Aug 22, 24. Tickets range from $20 to $65.
