A foul ball becomes a home run

A thrilled 2-and-a-half-year-old Ryan Rieker hugs his father, Jeff Reiker, while clutching the ball his father gave him at a Reno Aces game. The foul ball came down in the stands along the third base line. An Aces representative promptly appeared to get Ryan’s mother to sign a liability waiver, apparently unaware that it didn’t hit any of the Reikers. Rather, it hit an Aces employee, bounced off him, then bounced down the stairs where Ryan’s father scooped it up.
