2nd hand smoke studies reach same old conclusion

Casino workers are pointing to a Circulation magazine article to make their case that their health is being endangered by managers who allow smoking.

The article reviews data from 13 studies of smoking bans in communities in the United States, Canada and Europe. The review showed a dramatic drop in heart attacks after bans are put in place—17 percent in the first year and as much as 36 percent after three years. Circulation is published by the American Heart Association.
