Hit and Runway

Rated 2.0 Heterosexual Italian screenwriting student (Michael Parducci) teams with gay Woody Allen-ish playwright (Peter Jacobson) to pen an action flick in this affectionate but contrived Manhattan comedy about unlikely creative partnerships, ambition, artistic integrity and fizzling relationships. Judy Prescott as an unconvincing ugly duckling metaphor and Dawson Creek‘s Kerr Smith as a shallow actor with a Hebrew fetish provide the scribes’ respective romantic interests in this amateurish, occasionally amusing spin on the Odd Couple. Directed and co-written by Christopher Livingston.
