Festa Italiana

Saturday, August 3, and Sunday, August 4

It may be the case that I've watched too much of The Sopranos, but I assume that like myself, most people that are not descendents of “The Boot” wish they were at least a little bit Italian. Whether you're an italiano or not, the 28th annual Festa Italiana is your chance to live la dolce vita: Cannoli and meatballs will abound, along with a classic Italian car show and folk dancing. Mix in some vino and a salami toss, and it's got the makings of a perfetto weekend. $12, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 3; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 4; Croatian American Cultural Center, 3730 Auburn Boulevard; www.festaitalianasacramento.com.
