All American Tattoo Festival

Sacramento French Film Festival

Sacramento Pride Festival

California State Fair

The state fair has moved from its traditional Labor Day schedule to July. Yet there will be the same fabulous fair fare, such as the Magnificent Midway carnival rides, concerts, deep-fried food and lots of people watching. $12 general admission, $10 for seniors, $8 for youth 5-12, free for children 4 and under. Sierra Storytelling Festival

California Brewers Festival

A beer drinker’s paradise featuring more than 150 microbrews from breweries around the country and world.
