Kid Rock is an enigma. The rapper turned bad-boy rocker can play every instrument on stage, write rock hits and croon poignant ballads. In 2009, he even released his own beer called Badass American Lager. He keeps reinventing himself, as is apparent on his latest album, Born Free, which just went platinum. Guests on the 2010 album include T.I., Zac Brown and Sheryl Crow. Crow is currently on tour with him, which is great, considering that every time they collaborate, the result is magical. No doubt they’ll sing “Collide” off the new album in addition to their 2001 collaboration “Picture” as well. 2677 Forty Mile Road in Wheatland, www.kidrock.com.
