Tues., July 16, Creative Confluence Open Mic Night

The Creative Confluence Open Mic Night aims to be open to all sorts of performance art: poetry, jokes, stories, dance routines, magic tricks, music and “interdisciplinary expressive performances”—whatever that means. What it sounds like is a night of drinking some of Bows & Arrows' brews on tap, eating a Fat Face popsicle and mingling with some people in the local arts com-munity. According to its Facebook page, the organizers want to create some sort of unity in that scene, cure artists' loneliness and inspire others.
