The four Ganglians were featured on SN&R’s cover last year (“Trippin’ with Ganglians; SN&R Feature; December 17, 2009), but it’s time for an update. Touring: played Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona this summer, embarrassed themselves in front of Panda Bear and shared an elevator with the Pixies before dotting the continent. Recording: laid down nearly a dozen new tracks with local producer Robby Moncrieff (who just did Appetite’s album; “Goin’ hungry"), including a star-gazey acoustic number called “Bradley” that crosses “chillwave” and “slacker” with “chillax” results.
