It’s too bad Rock for Tots has nothing to do with Ore-Ida, because I secretly like to make nachos with tots. Anyway, this fifth annual fundraiser is a lot healthier—and more fun. There’ll be legit-good local bands—Prieta, Lonely Kings (pictured), Dogfood—and solid deejays—Blackheart, A. Sarti. And all you have to do is bring a toy, which first goes to The Salvation Army and then to a child in need during the holidays. In return for such benevolence, you’ll receive a raffle ticket to win prizes from local boutiques, salons, tattoo shops, skate shops, restaurants and even free drinks at the bar. I’m going to win a tattoo of a tater tot.
