It’s summer, and that means it’s time for something really new, as in brand-new to the point of, uh, revolution. Every Monday in June, Capital Stage will host their celebration of new works, the Playwrights’ Revolution. Four new plays by new artists will debut in staged readings at 7 p.m. at the Capital Stage on the Delta King (1000 Front Street) on June 7, 14, 21 and 28. This is a great place to check out cutting-edge work—last season’s Sacramento premiere of Erratica, an Academic Farce originated with a staged reading at the Playwrights’ Revolution.
