It’s now common to see organic food everywhere in the Sacramento area. That’s thanks to the efforts of the organic food movement and people like Amigo Bob Cantisano, a founding member of the California Certified Organic Farmers who helped start the Committee for Sustainable Agriculture. He’s spent four decades in the organic food movement, helping numerous California farmers and wine growers go organic. This Friday, September 30, at 6 p.m. he’ll be the featured guest at an organic dinner event at the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, 1914 Alhambra Boulevard. Tickets are $20.
