Let’s make the most of this beautiful day. Since we’re together, we might as well go to the Neighbors Fair! It’s a free event celebrating the ethnic diversity of the Sacramento region with a full day of live entertainment and delicious food from around the world. Performers include African dancers, Latin rockers, traditional Sikh dancers, a Russian Orthodox choir, Carol J. Toca, a Hmong dance troupe and blues guitarist Elvin Bishop. It all starts with a parade on Saturday at 10 a.m. Expect to see horses, floats, Shriners and all your favorite parade staples. The parade runs down West Capitol Avenue straight to the Neighbors Fair, which lasts from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Meet your neighbors at River Walk Park in West Sacramento. Call (916) 392-4000, ext. 213, or visit www.wsneighborsfair.com for more information.
