“I chose these tracks for their electro beats, textural-layered compositions, hypnotic moods and introspective vocals. All these songs have moved and inspired me in their originality and the fact that a lot of people don’t know of them, but should,” explained Martin Birke, singer-songwriter of electro-rock group Genre Peak. The band’s dark and moody synth-infused rock has earned comparisons to Depeche Mode. Its latest album, Ends of the Earth, is out now.
