Kid, The

Rated 1.0 Gack! Disney is capable of putting out some classic family fare, but this crap goes in the trash with Inspector Gadget and Flubber. Bruce Willis plays a grouchy image consultant who, through a muddled time traveling gimmick, comes face to face with his 8-year-old self and must learn to love his inner child. An overpowering soundtrack and the criminally heavy hand of director Jon Turteltaub make this an excruciating experience, despite a so-so performance by Willis. I think I hated this one more than Battlefield Earth, and that’s quite a feat.
