Lewis Carroll and Alice have their work cut out for them. In the Acorn and Oak Theatre’s newest play for children, these two characters are responsible for acting out the entire story of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Because Alice will play only Alice, well, that leaves Carroll with all the rest. If you’ve ever wanted to see a man transform into the Mad Hatter, a Cheshire cat, a caterpillar, a white rabbit and the Queen of Hearts before your very eyes, this is the show for you! The play runs every Saturday though March 8. A buffet lunch begins at 1 p.m., and the show follows at 2 p.m. Admission is $14 for the play and lunch or $8 for the play only. Find Wonderland inside Garbeau’s Dinner Theatre, 12401 Folsom Boulevard in Rancho Cordova. Call 985-6361 for more information.
