Sometimes Labor Day lives up to its name. After you host the family barbecue, take the requisite camping trip and get the kids ready for school, you need another three-day weekend just to recover. Why not take it easy this year? Chill out at the Aerospace Museum of California and watch classic Star Trek episodes. The museum is lowering its prices and extending its hours this weekend. Browse Star Trek: The Exhibition, the largest collection of Star Trek artifacts ever on public display, and then settle into the theater on Friday and Saturday nights for some William Shatner-era episodes. (“The Trouble With Tribbles” runs Friday at 7 p.m.)

Classic Star Trek episodes screened from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 3, and Saturday, September 4. Free with admission. Seating is limited.
