Rated 2.0 Pop star Sisqo’s singing and dancing during the final credits are the best moments in this stale teen romance. Ben Foster (Liberty Heights) plays a high school basketball player who gets dumped by his popular girlfriend (Melissa Sagemiller). He tries out for a play in an attempt to coax her back from the arms of a boy-group singer and is coached in the art of love and Shakespeare by his best friend’s sister (Kirsten Dunst). Guess who winds up falling in love? The film’s entry into the current gross-out sweepstakes includes a scene in which underage party-goers drink from a spiked punch bowl in which a peer has just blown chunks.
