Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story

Twentieth Century Fox Home Video

When South Park made the leap from television to feature film, it was for a story that demanded to be told on the big screen. The latest show to try this trick is that raunchy pop-culture-riffic hit Family Guy. But it appears this film was made just because the show was canceled for a while and its makers had nothing else to do. Young Stewie, the garrulous, maniacal, misunderstood genius, is at the forefront here, with three semi-connected tales about the tyke trying to find himself. As it plays, it is little more than a three-part television episode. Don’t mistake that for not being funny, though; this is Family Guy at its best, with 85 minutes of hilarity sure to satisfy anyone who loves the Fox show.
