Complex distribution

The Sacramento Art Complex is a collaborative at 2110 K Street, where local artists use studios and exhibition space. And this month, members of the community hung up their canvases to paint … SN&R’s newsstands. That’s right: Almost two dozen freshly designed SN&R boxes will be on display at the 21st and K street building; check it out! I delivered papers when I first started at SN&R, and it always was nice to see a formerly junky red rack that’d been painted by a local artist. Hopefully we’ll buy more boxes, and hopefully more artists will agree to put their marks on them. Sure beats a plain red box on the corner.
