Another round!

The second annual Sacramento Beer Week spans 10 days and more than 300 events. You’re gonna need a bigger glass.

Complete event details including menus and beer offerings at SacramentoBeerWeek.com.

Sacramento Beer Week is finally here! It’s like you’ve died and gone to heaven! (Assuming your deity of choice is a craft brewer and heaven is a land where the drafts never run dry.) All the craft brews worth consuming are waiting for you on tap and in bottles throughout the city from February 25 to March 6.

Now, we hate to dampen your enthusiasm like a beer bong overflowing on your new “Beer Ambassador” T-shirt, but we couldn’t let you start chugging Beer Week’s 300-plus tastings, dinners, happy hours and pub crawls without a quick lecture on responsibility. Here’s the thing: Beer Week is supposed to be fun. It’s a chance to learn about the art of beer and sample some of the finest brews in the world. Beyond that, it’s an awesome opportunity to bring friends together. And friends don’t let friends engage in drunk driving, macho monkey bar brawls, lecherous beer goggling, sloppy semiconscious hookups or incriminating passed-out Facebook photos. Beer Week is not rush week.

OK, lecture over! Now turn the pages and get to the good stuff! 2011 Sacramento Beer Week is the biggest beer event this city has ever seen, and we’re here to help you navigate the good times. That’s something we can all drink to.
